The Story

Forbes-Miller Expeditions began simply—with family, good friends, a pile of well-used gear, and a shared desire to see what waited beyond the end of the road. What started as fishing trips into Alaska’s remote country gradually became something larger: a tradition of exploration, fellowship, and stories earned in wild places.

These expeditions have never been measured by miles traveled or fish caught. They are measured in gravel-bar camps, weather endured, laughter around the fire, and time spent with the people who matter most.

We are not professional explorers—just a small company of family and friends who believe the adventure is found in living it together.
